Santa Barbara Tax Products Group has held onto my refund since July 2021.
I cannot get in touch with SBTPG using the number listed on their website, I have reached out and have yet to hear anything back from them.
The IRS themselves has informed me that SBTPG still has my refund, instead of sending it back to the IRS.
What gives them this right without notifying me? Why is TurboTax using this company, and then not notifying the customers when issues arise?
What should I do next?

It would be necessary to continue to try contacting TPG for additional information. Please see this website: TPG. There is a blue "Submit a request" button where you can provide your information and describe the issue (if you haven't tried that already).
You should sue the hell out of them!!!!!

Update after successfully complaining in TurboTax Instagram I got someone to DM me and escalated it as of today I received my cashiers check by FEDEX . Let’s just pray I don’t run into issues when it gets deposited.. because I’ve already waited a whole month for it
To the person that used instagram - did you ever get a contact phone number or email that worked? Who did you contact finally that got your refund fedexed? This same thing is happening to us - we're a bit older and don't quite know how instagram works - but we will definitely figure it out if its the only way to get through. They've been holding our refund since February - we've submitted several requests thru that TPG website - spent countless hours on the phone trying to get someone to help. This is a nightmare!!!! Please provide the contact info that was helpful.
