Rejected and now need cancelled

My submissions came back rejected (thank god) because I realized as I was working on my husbands that I messed up on things and now I just want us to cancel it completely and go somewhere else. I thought I could do it but I was wrong. Do I just not fix and keep it in rejection status? Will I be charged? If so how much?

If it rejected it didn't get filed.  You can just leave and abandon it.   Were the fees supposed to come out of your refund?   Then nothing will happen.   If you already paid with your credit card you can't get a refund.
