Refund Status

My girlfriend payroll information was declined by the IRS and now her refund check is in limbo and no one to call due to this pandemic. To make it worse the IRS still has that info, so her stimulus check will be in limbo as well..Bills are stacking up. We need to talk to someone and there is no one to call...HELP

Do you mean your GF's tax return was rejected?  What was the rejection code or rejection message in the email when it was rejected?  If we know that we may be able to help her get it e-filed.  Or she might need to just print, sign and mail it to get it filed.   Or was it some other problem?

Im sorry, no I meant her return was accepted, but her payroll card would not accept anything over $5000 so It was sent back.

If the refund was rejected by the card and sent back to the IRS, the IRS should issue a check and mail it to the address on her tax return.  That takes several weeks.
