Refund Status says Action Required

I followed the steps after I didn't reply it just disconnected and gave no further options. I guess just wait and see 🤞

When the IRS refund says Action Required it might  have given you a special phone # to call in.   Mine had a phone # and extension listed.  I called it and got right to a person without even waiting.

If i am understanding correctly the information on the IRS app is correct and Turbotax just estimates these dates?? 

The turbotax app says my refund was accepted, processed and dd date is March 20th. The IRS app says my refund has been accepted but nothing else. I filed on Feb 28th.

Turbotax charges alot, so if they are just estimating these dates this will be my last time using it. Never had this problem before.

I've used TurboTax the last 6 years and never had issues before. My spouse wonder if any of the government layoff are contributing 🤷‍♀️

@BrooklynGrace4 @Tipywos TurboTax gives you an estimated date for your refund based on the 21 day average processing time for the IRS.   21 days is not a promise from the IRS or from TurboTax.   TurboTax has no control over how long it might take for the IRS to process your refund.  TT has no control over whether the IRS decides to put your return under review, request identity verification, etc. etc.  Only the IRS is in control.

 TurboTax does not receive any updates from the IRS. Your ONLY source of information about your refund now is the IRS.

You need your filing status, your Social Security number and the exact amount  (line 35a of your 2024 Form 1040) of your federal refund to track your Federal refund:
