Pending State return (CA)

The IRS officially opened for E-filing today. It may take a bit for your state to accept your return.

And may ask what day did you file?  I filed on 1/25/, but my state is still pending.

I just checked this morning (1/29) and TurboTax shows that the the CA Tax Board received return this morning, but we I went on the CA Tax Board website and log in to my account, it still shows as "Not Received". I do think it may take a while since they just open the floodgate of returns, just hope that this will be resolved quickly.

No i didnt have to resubmit. I have just waited it out and then i checked online today 1/29 and it was accepted and a few hrs after that i got a email that also confirmed acceptance. So my guess is that it is now going to go through for everyone and that its just going to be a little longer for some but it will update.

My State Accepted today..  I filed on 01/22

A quick update to my previous update. My state has been proccesed, approved, And sent. I checked the ftb website and says i should expect it within 10 days. This was approved on the 30th. How soon after acceptance does state truly come usually? Obviously they are saying it could take up to 10 days but it was already issued and i want to know if it could come sooner if anyone knows lol Thank you.

According to this California Franchise Tax Board webpage, it could take a month to process a refund for an e-filed personal tax return. 

You can check the status of your California refund using this tool.
