No status on Where’s My Refund

Turbotax sent me an email stating my federal return had been accepted on February 11th. The IRS website can’t find my information when I put it in. Why is that? This tax year is a mess already

I’ve seen atleast two other are having this problem including myself so I hope it’s just the system is overloaded for a little while

Fingers crossed. I foresee them shutting down the tool soon for “updates”.

Until the IRS starts processing your tax return there may not be a record of it on the IRS website.  If your federal return was just accepted recently, please wait 24 hours before checking the status. The IRS updates the Where's My Refund site only once a day and that is usually in the overnight hours.  Please also see the below TurboTax FAQ for more information:
