No. If you try to have your refund deposited into an account that is not in your own name, the bank will reject it. Then will go back to the IRS. The IRS will then issue a paper check and mail it to the address on your tax return. In other words, your tax refund will be delayed for weeks if you ask to put it in your BF's account.
That's weird because I've had my girlfriends check deposited into my account for the past 3 years.
