It's after 48 hours and rhe irs still has not accepted my return?

It's been after 48 hours after January 24, 2022 and the IRS has not accepted or rejected my tax return.

Millions of returns were waiting on the servers for acceptance/rejection when the IRS opened on January 24.   Wait patiently and watch your emails.

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

Mine still hasn’t been accepted yet either, 72 hours later. I spoke to customer service yesterday and they said that TT hasn’t even sent it to iRS yet.  I don’t know what to do

I talked to customer service and they told me that its taking konger than usual and that mine has been submitted and for me to call back today. I don't know what's going on

I’ve been wondering the same. First time I was not accepted within 24 hours. Going on 2 1/2 days now and it’s still pending.

I filed on 4/6 and it’s 4/9 and still pending still not accepted

It can take a bit longer before the return is accepted. Please be sure to check your efile status by following the instructions here, to ensure no issues have occurred. @Donname404
