I’ve read that anyone with ACTC or EITC was held until Feb 27th to start actually processing. Which means the earliest deposit dates won’t be until March 21st. I’ve got both and have been checking daily; I have no itemizations, took the standard deductions, just have those two credits.
I’m hoping tomorrow, March 22nd, the status changes.
Never changed but thanks
There have been processing delays with many taxpayers who filed around the week of February 14. In some cases, this has been a issue with the IRS Get My Refund software reporting that the return is still processing, even when people have received their refunds.
TurboTax does not know why your refund says still processing. You can contact the IRS and ask about this.
Call them at 1-800-829-1040. They are open Mon - Fri from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM.
The best time to reach them is 8:00 AM your time.
Get to a live person fastest: Press 1 for English, then press 2 for Personal Income Taxes, and then push 1, then 3, then 2, then 0# when it asks for your social security number, then 2.
Thanks

IRS phone number seems to be disconnected in that it says "because of the heavy volume we cannot take your call at this time". So now how do I find out why the return is still pending?
Still waiting, 4 weeks
I’m waiting 4 weeks, direct deposit. No answer at IRS phone #.
The IRS is experiencing delays in processing returns due to a later than usual start to the tax season, a backlog of mailed returns, current tax season returns, and stimulus payments. Please also see this post here by ToddL99 for further explanation of why returns are delayed.
