IP Pin from the IRS is a 6 digit number but Turbo Tax only accepting a 5 digit

Used the IRS pages to generate a IP PIN, which did generate a 6 digit number.  However, Turbo Tax software is only allowing for a 5 digit number.  How can this be corrected?  Receiving rejection notice since invalid PIN was submitted if I only use the first 5 digits.

The 5 digit self-select PIN is only for e-filing the tax return, it is not for the IP PIN.

To enter, edit or delete a 6 digit IP PIN

Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
Click on Other Tax Situations
Scroll down to Other Return Info
On Identity Protection PIN, click the start button

Or enter ip pin in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to ip pin
