Income tax summary amount of refund is different than what is in the tax return

The income tax summary has the amount of my refund as $4173, but my tax return states $5109 as my tax refund. Why the difference?

Income tax summary amount of refund is different than what is in the tax return

Hi Sannicolas3737,

Are you referring to the e-filed version Federal refund amount vs. what is currently within TurboTax Online program?

If yes, the difference may be caused by the unemployment compensation exclusion being calculated within TurboTax Online program, but not reflected on the original e-filed version because you e-filed before the new law enactment.

Hope this helps. If not, please call and ask an expert to check out for you.
