If your WMR says “it’s been received and being processed” what does that mean?

Once the IRS has accepted your return, it then goes into "being processed" status until they review and approve your return if no issues are found. You will want to keep checking the IRS Where's My Refund site for updates. The WMR tool is updated daily (usually in the overnight hours) so you don’t need to check more often.
