Tax Year Prior to 2020: If we filed with TurboTax, does the IRS have our bank information to have the stimulus direct deposited? Will we me the mailed recipients of the check?

@Byoung23 this is out of Intuit's hands. The federal stimulus economic relief checks are being sent entirely and wholly through the Internal Revenue Service regardless of tax preparer, and therefore, cannot be answered as to whether they (TurboTax) are going by last name because it is all dependent as to how the IRS is processing the stimulus checks.

Stimulus payments come from the IRS, not TurboTax. No one knows what order the IRS is using for those except the IRS, and they're not saying officially. There have been reports that the first direct deposits on Friday were a test run and the bulk of them will go out this week, and that paper checks will go out based on AGI (low to high), but nothing official.

I second that, and I've been an Intuit Community Champion (formerly "superuser") here for well over a decade. If TurboTax can't hire her, at least they can recruit her for the Champion program. (Edited to correct pronouns).

Download your filed taxes, it will have the routing number and account number on it line 21!

I did this yesterday to see for myself because I got the intuit card, and it was in fact, on there, and marked as a checking account so I don't see why it wouldn't go there. Good luck@

I checked this yesterday.  Mine also has the turbo intuit account number and routing and is marked as checking.  The back of the card says greendot not the sbtg

Ok to be clear. I did research and if you use turbo tax and got the card and had your income tax deposited on it before then you will get stimulus check on it too.

I know a few people are wondering if you filed with Turbo and used your own dd information if you would get your stimulas dd or by check. My mom did this and she received hers last night. Idk how they decide who and when. She never herd anything from turbo just got the money direct deposited.

I'm in the same boat. I filed my taxes at the beginning of February and I still haven't gotten my return. The IRS app says that my refund is still processing and it's been like that for a long time
