Tax Year Prior to 2020: If we filed with TurboTax, does the IRS have our bank information to have the stimulus direct deposited? Will we me the mailed recipients of the check?

That is the same thing mine said. I got a packet & I had to send in proof for everything, that my children lived with me (documentation from school/doctor) and that they were related to me (birth certificates) and to prove head of household I had to send it all sorts of information from my landlord and utility companies. It's called a correspondence audit, I guess yours could always be different but from everything I've read online you'll probably get the same thing. I had to have all that in within 30 days and once I sent it in I have not heard anything. Who knows when I will get my refund:(

From what I understand if one of your dependents is 17 or older you won't get money for them.

I spoke with  live representative yesterday and she told me no it wouldn't be on my turbo card that I would have to update my bank info. I'm confused now

No you should not have to do anything else. As long as they were authorized to deposit your refund into your account, that's where your stimulus check is going.

I spoke tob3 live people via the turbo tax app first dude said if I had turbo tax deduct my fees from my taxes that they don't have my direct deposit info i then checked my 1040 my info clearly visible ibtuen talked to two other live reps who both said the first rep was mis informed  then Friday night several people who had their fees deducted received their Stimulus to their bank account so the IRs will use wuatvis in your 1040 if it's not showing your bank and routing number on your 1040 then you can only wait until the 15th if not received track it on the 17th and follow the instructions
