One more tip, call back to irs again I know it takes forever to get thru but when I called at about 5 weeks later they were able to tell me exactly why I hadn’t received it yet and how long it would approximately take to get it, once they make the corrections and put it back in the system correctly, the call center people are able to tell you more , so I’d call again to get another up date if I were you
Took about 55 days to get my money cleared in the bank. Where's my refund uodated to say still processing date will be available tax topic 152 and instead of the amount on the side it said tax period ending december 2020. This is a sure and fastest sign to know it's been approved. Checking transcripts and calling is a waste if time. They can't see anything more than we can see. They can see if it's been accepted, processed, approved or on hold for more information. Same thing we can see. I advise checking it from the website not the app. If you see the change for tax period ending december 2020 it will be pending in your account 24 hours later and available 3 to 7 days depending on your banks policies. Just have to wait no other way to make it go faster 😉. It's ridiculous the IRS or turbotax can't tell people this crap they just lie to everyone and read from their script. Literally read the Internal revenue department customer service manual and their script I was so bored it's all available online 😁!
I did mine on Jan.13 the they were excepted on the 15th an I still don't have mine yet!
That isn’t true, it’s different for everyone , mine said dec 2020 since I filed so I’m not sure where that Idea came from , calling helps for sure because wmr app has a delay of about three days so yeah if you want to call, then call ! Don’t let someone else’s experience determine your decision, I hate when people come on here and say your experience is going to be exactly the same as theirs , do you work for the irs? Even if you do, are you aware of every step taken for every single situation? Probably not! So, call them bug them it is our money and we deserve to know wtf is going on
with it
Trying not to sound stupid here but what exactly do you mean by checking the irs website instead of the wmr site. And mine still says your taxes are still being processed and a refund date will be given when available....it does say on the bottom tax number 152 or whatever but on the left it still shows the ssn filing status and amount. Don't see anything about the year ending December 2020 but may not be going to the website your talking about. Around a month into waiting I called and got through and talked to a guy that checked taxes and saw nothing wrong other than it got sent to return department and the fine lady there couldn't tell me anything other than if nothing changed in 10 weeks to call back. Filed the 28th of January and was accepted the 13th of February and still waiting patiently. I did file head of household, earned income credit, and ig the child tax credit. I also put the stimulus money that I received and I heard that's what through us tt customers into the return department as I'm in my 9th year with tt and always had my refund within 2 wks. And the year of ye ole coronavirus when taxes needed asap I'm playing the waiting game. Any Information would be appreciated bud...thanks again.
I can view my tax transcript now is that a good sign?
@Williams2225 Once you have Efiled and the IRS has Accepted your return, TurboTax has no knowledge of the timeframes for IRS processing.
Sometimes processing time depends on what you had on your return, but if you can view your transcript, that sounds like things are moving along.

Depends. What's it say?
This year has brought challenges. The IRS is required to reconcile the tax returns and stimulus payments as well as working on the third stimulus payments due to the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). With the tax season and the changes taking place all at once, a delay should be expected for full payments. They want to be diligent and are required to follow any protocols they have been issued. The timeline is unclear at this time and there is no need for concern.
