I was approved for a tax refund advance and my refund was accepted by the IRS. When do I get the advance? I haven’t seen and email.

Following. I was approved for the advance and one of the few who was chosen for early acceptance. Mine was rejected, error fixed, and resubmitted. I understand that the IRS accepts some tax returns early every year to test their systems but I am wondering if the advances won't be issued until the actual day that the IRS opens. It says it goes by the acceptance but these are, after all, early acceptances.

If you were approved for the advance and your return was accepted during the early testing period, then you should receive the advance within 48 hours.

everything on my end says approved awaiting refund. I have not received the advance and it’s been way over 48h.. which is why I made the original post in the first place…

Thank you so much for your response! That’s what I was thinking too but was unsure. I knew I was going to be early so didn’t think I would have been approved so quickly. It says “irs approved your refund” so I assumed based on their articles that I should get my advance with in 2 days. Guess those “help article's” arnt that helpful…..

It was not helpful. Based on the article, which I read before I created this post, my advance should I have been in my account days ago
