IRS notice CP14 - https://www.irs.gov/individuals/understanding-your-cp14-notice

Accepted only means the IRS received the tax return as filed.  It does not mean the information provided on the tax return is accurate.

The IRS is claiming that you did not pay the taxes owed.  If you have proof of payment either from a bank account or a credit card account then contact the IRS using the phone number provided in the notice.

TurboTax does not pay taxes owed.  If you had taxes owed then you were given several options on how to pay those taxes - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/tax-payments/help/how-can-i-pay-my-federal-taxes/01/26212

I received a CP 14 notice but Turbo tax says my return was accepted?

We received an IRS notice CP14 stating that we owed $212.84 in penalty but did not say what penalty was for. Stated we paid Taxes owed, same amount received. Stated that there was a contact telephone on upper right of document. No telephone number.

Tried to contact via regular number to no avail. Tried to use online website and no way to leave message to contact.

Turbo Tax guaranteed that return was accurate, complete and accepted.

Just trying to find out what the penalty is for.

The new CP14 notices do not have a phone number to call ... so respond by mail sending proof of payment.
