I posted a payment to IRS via debit account, but didn't receive any confirmation from Turbo Tax, is this normal?

Payment submitted on July 14th, and I know they are busy processing all the payments, but I thought I'd at least get some kind of confirmation email. Should I pay again? Or will it count as double..?

I posted a payment to IRS via debit account, but didn't receive any confirmation from Turbo Tax, is this normal?

You do not get a confirmation email regarding a payment for taxes owed.  You get a confirmation email from TurboTax to let you know your return was accepted or rejected.  After that, TurboTax does not get any information about your return or payment.  If your return was accepted, then the payment information was sent to the IRS.

 

To verify the date that Federal funds will be withdrawn from your account, confirm that funds have been transferred, or cancel the transaction up to 48 hours before the date you designated the funds to be debited, call the IRS at 1 (888) 353-4537.

To add:  Do not pay again, that would make a double payment deducted from your account.
