If you are self employed didn't you have to pay the self employment tax on your income?  Seems strange to end up with zero refund and zero tax due.  Did you pay in quarterly estimates that exactly covered the tax on your income?

I drove for lyft last year and bcuz u entered mileage and gas and things I bought while working,  it came to $0, so didn't have to pay or I didn't get a return.
