I listed that I did not receive my 2nd stimulus check on my taxes and yet it does not appear on my return. Should I try to correct it ?

It depends. 

• Do not amend the tax return if the Recovery Rebate Credit was included at all in the tax return.

  • To check if the Recovery Rebate Credit is included in the return, download the PDF and check Form 1040, page 2, Line 30.
    • To download the PDF:
      • Go to your Tax Home in your TurboTax account
      • Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents and click Show More.
      • Select 2020 and download the PDF.
        • The forms are named in the top left and lower right hand corners of each page
        • Next, scroll to page 2 to check Line 30 for the amount of your Recovery Rebate Credit.
• Amend the tax return if the Recovery Rebate Credit was not included in the tax return. See: How do I amend my 2020 TurboTax Online return.
  • Amending the federal return can be done electronically. 
  • However, unless you live in Georgia, Michigan, New York, or Vermont, any state amended return must be paper filed.
