I have (IRS approved after audit) unearned/passive income. Can I use the free TurboTax version to report this?

The free version is primarily for reporting wage income, for which you would receive a W-2 form. Most passive income is reported on a schedule K-1 form, or is rental income, and that would not be compatible with the free version of TurboTax. You will need to describe your passive income better for us to be more helpful though.
