You can review the direct deposit information by following the instructions below:
Open your return if it's not already open.
On the Tax Home screen with the amount of your refund and status, scroll down and select Add a State (don't worry, we're not adding a state) to access your tax forms and worksheets.
In the left menu, select Tax Tools then Print Center.
On the TurboTax Print Center screen, select Print, save or preview this year's return.
On the next TurboTax Print Center screen, select 2019 federal returns and Include Government and TurboTax Worksheets (optional), then select View or Print Forms.
The information will be on the first page, Electronic Filing Instructions for your 2019 Federal Tax Return next to Balance Due/Refund.
Also, you can check your direct deposit information on your 2018 tax return as well.
thank you for your advice, however, after following your instructions, since i did not have a refund or need to pay taxes for 2019, there was no information there about banking information.

IF you are needing assistance on accessing your 2016 return, can you please provide us with more details as to what is happening to you and why you are not able to access?
See links below that explain how to print a copy of your 2016 Tax return using TurboTax Deluxe online: https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
Scroll down and on the section Your tax returns & documents click on Show. Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)
You can also get free transcripts of your federal return from the IRS - http://www.irs.gov/Individuals/Get-Transcript
I am able to access my returns for 2016 but that's all it doesn't let me access any of the paperwork that I did for TurboTax as far as entering my bank account information so I'm really stuck in other words it won't let me access the worksheets where I put in my routing number checking account number and maybe I didn't even do it I don't remember it so long ago but I'm really frustrated and that I can't find out if the IRS has my direct deposit information the State of Arizona has my direct deposit information because I get a refund from the state every year will that enable the IRS to direct deposit to me
Ok folks ... if you did not direct deposit a refund directly with the IRS on your 2019 return (2018 if you did not file 2019 yet) then the IRS will NOT look further back or with a state for your DD info for the stimulus checks ... you will simply be mailed the check. They do NOT have unlimited manpower or all powerful computer access to do more than that especially during tax season during a pandemic for goodness sakes.
critter,
thank you for your answer 🙂

Seems to be a programming issue with the IRS "Where's My Payment" web site. It does not like the "0" amount nor does it understand not checking "Refund" or "paid". If you try to populate values, it knows they are incorrect. Also since some of the lines from line 8b of the return can go negative, wonder how it feels about those values...
Makes you wonder who actually programs this stuff (not the quality of Turbo Tax software...!)
I have not filed yet but I don't see any options to put bank information because there is no refund. So can you let me know how to put the information
Thanks
