I had same issue with my adult daughter, she just entered her info like 5 times on the irs "don't file" form and the last time she did it, it came up as eligible.

@zaptaxes @erinh007  here is the problem...  

did she file a tax return? There is a question:  CAN SHE be claimed by someone else.  the question is not WAS SHE claimed by someone else.

if you do not claim her, which is your right, she can't answer the question (can you be claimed by someone else?)  any differently.  

if you CAN be claimed by someone else, you are not eligible for the $1200 stimulus
