Edit what exactly? And have you already filed?
Sorry about that - for some reason it didn't post the rest of my question?! I had finished my return (though I don't want to file until April since I owe) but wanted to pay for Turbotax to get that over with. It went to the Review stage, and said there were a few more things needed to clarify. It proceeded to bring up a part of the form where it asked how many dependents for the taxpayer, and how many dependents for the spouse, in regards to a letter regarding the advanced child tax credit. I wasn't sure if I was supposed to put 2 for each (we only have 2 kids) or split the kids 1 and 1. I just put in a filler, knowing I'd go back to edit it correctly before April when I actually filed. However, now it won't go back to that during the review. I've tried to search for it with no luck. Does anyone know how to get back to edit that part of the form?

That would have been for calculating the Child Tax Credit on IRS Form 8812.
Enter child tax credit in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to child tax credit.
It doesn't ask anywhere about the number of dependents in that section. I had already filled that out before review. During the review it asked the new question of how many dependents. I don't know how to get back to that section (it was not a section I saw during the process; it only popped up during review). Is there a way to see your 1040 form and edit outside of the user interface turbotax has? I don't want to submit it with incorrect dependent numbers and then cause a delay in acceptance once it's filed. Also, what number should I use? We have two kids; do we say 2 for each, or split the kids and say 1 for taxpayer and 1 for spouse?

The question is asked for the Schedule 8812 because it needs to know if you and your spouse each received an advance child tax credit for each child. You would enter 1 for you and 1 for your spouse.
If you are using the TurboTax online editions there is no way for you to view the Schedule 8812 until the TurboTax account is paid for either by credit card or use the option to pay with refund and file the return.
What you can do is delete the Schedule 8812 and then go back to Deductions and Credits section for the Advance payments, Child and Other Dependent Tax Credits and re-enter.
To delete the Schedule 8812
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the program screen
Click on Tools
Click on Delete a form
If you are using the TurboTax desktop editions then you can view the Form 8812 directly by clicking on Forms. When in Forms mode all the forms, schedules and worksheets for your return are listed on the left side of the screen. Click on Schedule 8812 to open
