I am MFJ and last year on my 2021 return I accidentally reported my wife's W-2 under my name and SSN. All the amounts are correct so our joint income wont be different and what we owed won't change however it information-wise it is not correct. The return was accepted with no hiccups or follow ups from the IRS so far as of writing this. Do I need to amend my 2021 return? If so how do I go about it since the amounts are not changing. Do y'all think my return for 2022 will be rejected because of this?

No, as you stated, it did not affect your return in anyway. The IRS would have received a copy of your W2's so they actually do know whos is whose. If you amended your return, it would not change anything since as you stated it is your joint income so you do not need to amend your 2021 return.
When you file for 2022, you will simply need to delete the W2 that will transfer from last year so you can enter the correct information. This will not cause your return to be rejected.
The only place you may want to double check your earnings is with the social security administration to be sure that each person gets the proper credit with social security. If you don't already have one, you can create an online account and look at your wage history. If it is not correct, you will need to contact them to get it corrected.
I assume that you also had a W-2 of your own. If so, on your 2021 tax return, is there a credit for excess Social Security tax on Schedule 3 line 11? If so, the credit is wrong and you should file an amended return to correct it or remove it completely. If there is no amount on Schedule 3 line 11, or there is no Schedule 3 in the return, or there was no other W-2 besides the one for your wife that you entered incorrectly, you do not have to amend the return. You might eventually get a letter from the IRS saying that you did not report your wife's W-2. You will have to reply to the letter explaining that you mistakenly entered it as yours.
Your 2022 tax return will not be rejected because of the error. However, when you start your 2022 tax return in TurboTax, your wife's W-2 will be transferred to the 2022 return as if it's yours. Delete the transferred W-2 and reenter it from scratch for the correct person.
There was no schedule 3 on the return so it looks like Im in the clear. Thank you for the help!
Thank you for the help and extra info!
I wouldn't amend it at this point. the Social Security Adm should have the correct info because they get the W-2s from the employer and forward that info to the IRS. but you may get a letter from the IRS if the SSN's you used were transmitted as part of the e-file then there may be a mismatch. just wait unless there is a credit for excess social security taxes.
