Hey, I just did something incredibly similar yesterday.
Log in to TurboTax with the same info you used last year. Once you've done that, you'll get transferred to a screen that says something to the effect of "welcome to your second year witb TurboTax" (or however many years you've been using TurboTax) And then a couple of other things will pop up. At the very bottom of it there'll be a box that says "continue". Click that box that says "continue", scroll all the way to the bottom. there is a little link that says something like "my stuff" or "my documents". When you click that, you should be able to navigate where to download a .pdf version of your previous years tax return. In that PDF version of your tax return, somewhere in there will be the account and routing number for the Green Dot card. What you will need to do after copying down the routing number and account number is also get the exact tax return refund amounts for state and federal that you were going to receive. At this point then, you will need to call the IRS and speak with an actual person.( literally just Google "how to get in contact with an actual person at the IRS", and there will be the phone number you need and the exact instructions for which buttons to press and in which order, and you'll get in contact with a person.) Once you get on the phone with the person at the IRS, they're going to ask you some identity verification question, then just explain to them what happened. They'll need the account and routing number for that Green Dot card that you copied down earlier and the exact amount of your state and federal tax returns. I know for sure that they'll be able to help out with the federal return, but you may need to probably contact your State Revenue Office in order to receive the state refund, but more than likely with just the exact same information. FYI, it takes *up to* 9 weeks for the refund to come. But it's generally within 2-3 weeks that it actually comes. Bonus, though, because you didn't receive the refund, it's been gaining interest for a year, so it'll come back with a little bit more money than originally expected
