In order to remove your tax deferral, you must delete your election to defer your self-employment taxes from your tax return.
Please follow these steps in TurboTax to change your election:
Choosing no to the question Do you want more time to pay self-employment taxes? does not change the deferral amount to zero. Any ideas on how to fix this? I do not want to defer the self-employment taxes
Please delete your Schedule C, and then follow the instructions by Lenah above to re-enter the selections.

@CarissaM, thanks for replying, but that is not a good solution. @JamesG1 provided an excellent solution as follows :
Your self-employment income may be eligible for a portion of your self-employment tax to be deferred. See this TurboTax Help.
In TurboTax Online Self-Employed, I was able to enter a self-employment tax deferral and pass Review. Then I was able to remove self-employment tax deferral and pass Review.
Follow these steps.
People receiving federal refunds are not eligible for self-employment tax deferrals -- so the SE-T form needs to be manually edited on line 18. Easy peasy.
Then when the federal review is complete and the state return is checked, that enters a loop because it expects a different answer on the federal form.
