Haven't received my amended refund yet, it has been 8 weeks since I filed.

Do not expect quick results from amending. It can take five months or more for the IRS to process an amended return.

Haven't received my amended refund yet, it has been 8 weeks since I filed.

Amended tax returns can take up to 16 weeks to be processed.  Please see this link from the IRS to check the status of your amended return.
