Why would I have to go to the post office? If my mailman didn’t deliver it with the rest of my mail are you saying the post office is like “oh look! it’s so and so’s stimulus check. Let’s F with him more because the IRS didn’t F with him enough. Let’s see how long it takes for him to realize we”re gonna deliberately keep it here at the post office while we deliver all his other mail, except his stimulus check”. (followed by an evil laugh). Sorry just hard to understand why you’d say that. Fill me in.
UPDATE: Payment was deposited on 5 May... one day earlier than promised.
---
22 April: Even though I had filed 2018 taxes, I could not get past the initial "Cant determine your status" page. So I filed my 2019 taxes and made sure I provided bank account info so they could take the money directly out of my account.
23 April: Finally was able to get into the get-my-payment page. Personally I think this was a coincidence as my taxes were only accepted the night before (based on email from TurboTax) AND I still had to re-enter my bank account info.
02 May: Nine days after entering bank account info, the get-my-payment website says my stimulus payment will be deposited on 6 May. We'll see...
@vakhtang This is great news I’m waiting now tomorrow can’t get here fast enough lol
That's great you got your deposit. I've never even got a deposit date like the rest of people who put their info in on April 15 16 17 18.
So I checked my account this morning and it went from you are eligible for this payment and we will update your account when date is available to payment status is not available. What is going on and has anybody else got this message.
it is saying the same thing for me and my son and there is no one to talk too this sucks and I still have not gotten my 2019 return
Still no F'ing change still eligible no payment date doing on 3 weeks no date.. we the people of the 15th demand our dam money.. I'm struggling like a mf with holding off bills. Thanks IRS for giving us the shaft with no lube...
I updated my banking information on April 15th when the portal opened. “I’m eligible but no payment date” message is still active in the get my payment tool. It’s been 3 weeks.
First off dont be nasty to someone who is trying to help you. Many people went to the post office and their check was there. It's called a suggestion. Maybe if you was not so nasty to people trying to help you then you would have more luck. Do nothing then sit and dont do a thing. This forum is for people who are in this together and fights will not be started through negativity. Dont ask for help if you blast people trying to help. Have a great day.
Did you check it multiple times, sometimes when I check it a few times a day I get this message, but then I wait and it reverts back to the Eligible with no date status. For you sake though I hope its a step closer to a payment date though
I apologize. It wasn’t meant to be nasty. I understand you were just trying to help. I was just trying to understand why it could possibly be at the PO waiting for me. I had false hope for a minute. Listen, we’re all extremely FRUSTRATED to the point of EXHAUSTION. I think maybe if one of us made a YouTube video regarding this it would get so many HITS the media would notice. Not one of these TAX gurus on YouTube ever mention this ERROR. Maybe this could work. Are there any YOU TUBERS out there???
I'm in the same boat I did my bank information back on April 15th and still waiting.....m
I just checked it again and its back to saying I am eligible of the payment.......... I am so stressed out about this and I am so sick of my friends asking me have I heard anything. I guess we are really forgotten. I would not stress out about it so much but like so many others I have bills to pay. I have contacted CNN and even posted on the IRS twitter and insta gram page but no reply. I just need some answers is the IRS open.
Mine said not eligible or does child support take it
I have the same issue. The IRS tool says my dd date is April 29th and I still don't have mine either.
