Has anyone received the message, ‘You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.” when they view the stimulus tracker? [Tax Year 2019]

@cboutros7  It seems that a lot of us updated on the 15th and 16th and are still receiving the same message, that the deposit will be made when a date is determined. The issue is that there has been no change to that status in almost two weeks, and without being able to communicate directly with the IRS there’s no way to draw attention to the issue. Additionally, not filing a 2019 return is a lot different than filing one who’s status is still processing. 
I tried to post a new thread asking that exact question (if anyone who’s federal return is still processing has received their stimulus yet) but I haven’t had a single reply yet. 
seems like we’re all just sitting in purgatory right now. SOL and JWF. 
Napoleon once said, “Never ascribe to malice that which can adequately be explained by incompetence.” Yet, it’s getting pretty hard not to be angry about all this. I think for most of us left hanging, as much as we need this money, we just wanna know - definitively - what’s going on. No one can seem to answer that.

@AntonioR1 - according to what I read in the press, the IRS should be providing you with a date for teh payment on May 2

Ok thanks and my fiancé got her in a paper check they sent it out on 4/24 when do you think she’ll receive it via mail ?

@AntonioR1 Yea thats what my parents did. They were able to put in their direct deposit info and got a confirmation that their payment is going to be direct deposit into their checking account but few days later their status changed to will mail a check on May1st

@AntonioR1 - the IRS announced over the weekend that their new approach is that anyone who updates their banking information by Tuesday noon ET will be provided a payment date the following Saturday, which I take to mean 5 days later.

Can I ask why you think we will have updates on Saturday? I'm legitimately asking, because I would love to know when my status would change. I finally was able to log back in and I still have no new updates, still saying I am eligible and when they have a date, they'll update me. I truly hope you're right and Saturday brings those of us waiting peace of mind.

@CJ04120521 Im saying Saturday because they updated millions of statuses last saturday. If you read previous posts on this thread u will see a lot of people got updates on that day

If you enter your bank information in Get My Payment any day until noon on Tuesday, your payment date will be available beginning the following Saturday in Get My Payment. If you enter your bank information after noon on Tuesday, your payment date should be available beginning the Saturday after next in Get My Payment.

There may be times when your payment may be sent by mail because the payment was already in process before the bank information was entered. If this is the case, then typically it will take up to 14 days to receive the payment (standard mailing time).
