checked the portal this morning and said it was deposited today, but it only says bank account number and the last four is my social.... anyone know what this means? i haven't received any funds yet

i read somewhere they deposit at different times like 10, 1 , 3, and 6pm idk if thats true

Well IRS.gov says they'll use 2018 bank account or 2019 and 2018 is Wells Fargo that's still current and active and 2019 turbo and had zero issues getting my 2019 tax return....so who the hell knows...

So to try and actually answer the question. I was not sure of the whole turbo card thing either, as we all know TT sends it to sbtg to take their cut before they send the funds to us. I thought what everyone else did. That if it showed a account and routing number it would go to the turbo card. However the IRS launched its Get my Payment portal for those who have already filed. I was required to enter in my basic information, I was then taken to a screen which acknowledged that i was eligible for the payment AND THAT THE IRS DID NOT HAVE DD INFO ON FILE FOR ME.

I was then prompted to enter my bank account info and boom I was done. Stop stressing about it and just go enter your info. I really perfred it not to go on that prepaid card anyway. Hope this helps!

That's great for you, but for most of us the IRS tool shows the last 4 of our social as the bank account number, with no option to update or change the info.
