I couldn’t agree more. It’s like asking a baby that can’t even talk what’s wrong( calling customer support). I think next year I’ll be taking my business somewhere else.
Wow! Thats not cool at all. My refund was over 7k and I used chime. There is something going on and I think TurboTax may have thought doing this 25 early deal would be good but it became a disaster that they can’t keep up with it.

I agree. I have been getting my refund in the same credit union account for over 10 years . I don’t see the issue. But I did see some one on another post state that her credit union pushed back and said they don’t allow same day rt payments. The earliest would be the night before
I got a date saying the 2/26/25 but I put to get 5 days early but now it say I can't get the 5day early thing why it is that way now but it say the 2/21/25 thats today when will I get my money
So, if I could not get my refund expedited 5 days early, what is the process for getting me my refund after that?
I just spoke with TT rep after getting a message that my deposit could not be sent 5 days early. She told me that they attempted to send the deposit but it was rejected by my bank. I called my bank and they said that a deposit has not been attempted at all today. So yes, agreed someone is playing games.
My refund has been approved for deposit by 2/25 on irs WMR but I have still not received an email from turbotax saying that it has even been approved nor have I gotten my money 5 days sooner in which I paid for.
Did they ever tell you what was gonna happen? Cuz the same happened to my boyfriend he got a little message saying it couldn’t be deposited so they were sending a check but irs says my funds were never sent and also my bank said there was no attempted deposits.
Same. Turbo Tax; just looking to make money off anyone for anything. They are just counting on no one being smart enough to look up their transcripts and know when the payment was sent from IRS and how to interpret the IRS codes. Scandalous and smart. But I am smarter. I wont be using TT again.
Whoa! First off I’m so sorry to hear that. TurboTax really messed up this year. I did receive my deposit 5 days earlier in my account by them but just reading everyone’s comments I won’t ever do the 5 days earlier, I I will wait! This is ridiculous and unacceptable on their end! Just reading everyone’s comments is a lesson for me and I may not be so lucky next time! I pray that everyone receives their hard earned money soon!
I agree, when I called I was told that ppl who opted for the 5 day early option but was cancelled would receive a check in the mail.. and also when I log into turbo tax my order receipt disappeared. I saw another thread as well about ppl saying that their e receipt was gone and it showed no record of a tax return being filed. I don’t know what’s going on any more. But turbo tax has lost a customer
That's the thing the rep claimed it wouldn't have any negative impact on my actual deposit date, which does not make sense to me.
I’m sorry but I don’t believe anything that customer service says.. they all say anything just so we can get off the phone. The check being mailed doesn’t seem to far fetched if u ask me. It’s a few ppl on this thread who are getting checks
