Federal refund send date of 2/24. I paid the extra to have the 5 days advance. Today makes 5 days early but nothing changed on turbo. Will I get refunded for no advance?

I agree wholeheartedly, I just called back and got another rep who gave me a totally different story. He claims I do not need to worry about a paper check because my refund will be issued on the 26th via direct deposit and that it was not a bank issue, the 5 day early refund was just canceled for some unknown reason. We will see I suppose. Not using TT next year that's for sure. It is always something with them.

Does your refund say that it was sent via check on turbo ??

No, all it says is that they could not send my deposit 5 days early. I do not have anything about a check.

Mines been stuck and the only thing it’s saying is that it was due 2/29 and they couldn’t expedite it and I got the email saying I would receive it by its original date of 2/24

Yea we didn’t even receive any emails from them since filing. We just checked yesterday and at first it said they recieved our refund 5 days early and then we check again and it said that they couldn’t deposit it and that it would be sent via check. We called them and they had no explanation. To why it couldn’t be sent and then called irs and they said they  have no record of even sending it to them and then our bank said that there are no denied transactions. We even check to make sure our bank info was correct and it was so idk what happened.

I believe most ppl will be getting checks, it’s way too many ppl who were denied the 5 day early bull crap.

Have you received it they said they could not offer the 25.00 and my dad is the 24th and bank with chime I'm so confused usually chime gives it early

My problem with that is how long is that gonna take and why is irs saying they didn't send my money yet and my bank saying that they never had any denied transactions.

I opted for 5 day early and received my deposit Feb 21 at 9:30 pm … I live in CT and I have Bank of America ( they don’t provide early pay but it work with Turbo Tax.) I seen a lot of people that got their money 5 day early with different banks.

This I feel is the new way turbo tax...*cough cough* I mean Intuit turbo tax will operate. Nothing is as it seems , look at this hand over here whilst the other does something shady and sideways. Credit karma's " karma guarantee is just a guarantee to catch a new hard inquiry , declined offer and months and months of chasing down. 50$.                 " guaranteed payment ". So as far as this 5 day early nonsense I wasn't hopeful and you all delivered to my expectations fully but not being able to honor that 5 days early guaranteed . You have my delivery date set for 02/21/2025  ...but wait  thatduderaif, that was yesterday!? ...indeed it was ...I still have a past old date listed as my delivery date , after the failed 5 day early guarantee ...only thing I can guarantee with I Intuit TurboTax and the rest of the Intuit daily ..is that your gonna get In to it with customer service at some point...and that guarantee I can surely take to the bank..@turbotaxl

So I know typically when you do an advance the money is sent to turbo tax to deduct their fee and then their bank will send the deposit to your bank less their fees . If they weren’t able to give us the 5 days early will they still receive the return from irs and their bank have to forward to our bank and they just not take out the $25 or will my money be deposited into my bank account directly from the IRS? Hopefully my question makes sense .
