Basically as the title. I efiled for an extension at the end of March, but for whatever reason it was rejected through turbotax. I went and manually did an extension on irs.gov. I finished and filed my taxes through Turbotax last week, and the returns were accepted. Turbotax displays a very confusing message through where it says I'm finished with taxes, the returns were accepted, but also that my return was rejected and I need to fix my return. Now I can't file for an amendment to claim a credit we realized we forgot, and I don't think I can do anything because the only option I have is to attempt to efile again.
I can't seem to contact any kind of technical support to resolve this inconsistency. The phone lines all direct me to add Live support, but I don't need Live support, I need someone to clear out the historical rejection.
