Due to COVID 19, I am facing a liquidity issue. I already filed and paid my taxes - could I get that payment back?

I paid my taxes before this crisis occurred. Now I need the money to make payments. Can I get that money back in the interim? The secretary of the treasury announced new rules on March 17, 2020. Thanks fore the help.

The 90 day deferment is only being talked about just now. It is not official, if it ever will be. If you have already paid your taxes, the IRS will not refund them to you. You will have to get the money some other way.
