Do I need to amend?

I accidentally filed form 7202 even though I am not self-employed. Will it affect me? Please help.

Yes, you will probably need to amend your return if you filed Form 7202 for Credits for Self-Employed Individuals and did not have a Schedule C in your return. 

However, your return may be Rejected by the IRS, and then you will be able to open it, delete Form 7202, and Efile again.
