Hello!
I have been trying to contact the IRS but I can't get through or even on the hold line.
I have not received any stimulus payments. (Not the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd) When I filled out my taxes, I don't think the 3rd has been issued yet. I am eligible. For the rebate credit, I put $1800 ($1200 for the 1st one and $600 for the second one. Everything was going fine, my state taxes were excepted and I got my refund back from them. But, then the IRS sent me a form (CP11 notice) saying the was an issue in the recovery rebate credit and I now owe them over $1000 when I was supposed to be getting about that much in my tax refund. What do I do? Why did this happen? I also paid for extra help from turbo tax to find and fix errors. Is there a way to find out why it was not checked correctly? Can I get my $30 back for the extra support I'm not receiving?
I have been calling the IRS for days but I can never get through to a human. I'm so frustrated! Please help!

Let me help:
If you claimed a missing stimulus payment on your return but the IRS took it off you have to ask the IRS. They think they already sent it to you. Maybe it went to an account you don't remember. Or you got a check or a card. It was probably easy to miss the debit card in the mail and think it was junk mail. They have to put a trace on it.
How to put a trace on a missing 1st or 2nd Stimulus payment
**bleep** that sounds like some.BS! I would say F' em and tell em they shouldn't have screwed up
Did you ever get this resolved? I, too, am having the same issue where I went from getting a refund to now supposedly owing after receiving a CP11 notice from the IRS citing only "Recovery Rebate Credit". I filled out the information with TurboTax exactly as shown which is why this is so puzzling. I'm not sure what good the service is if they can't get this right. Also, my attempts to call the IRS to understand this have been impossible. It clearly says you can dial a number to speak to a representative. Problem is, its only an automated system that sends you in circles.
