Confirmation Accepted Business Returns with IRS accepted codes

I don't trust the IRS.  In previous years, I have filed extensions, then months later, get a late filing penalty notice for thousands of dollars.  I have to write and send proof of my timely filing (mail receipts) to get it resolved.  

So my question is how do I print a confirmation with the IRS accepted confirmation numbers showing the IRS accepted it?  An email stating my return was accepted will not be enough proof with the IRS.

There is no confirmation number for filing. Your documents are proof of filing. You can always contact the IRS to see if there is a confirmation number they can provide.

 
To print out all the worksheets, including the TurboTax worksheets used to fill in the return, there should be an option to download all forms and worksheets in the Print Center.

If you used TurboTax CD/Download, follow these steps to check your e-file status:

1. Open the File menu
2. Select Check E-file status
3. Or, go to the File tab and select the Check E-file Status header
