Code 971 and 570

Following for an update:

971 code & 570 code both with a date of 3/29. I did claim a recovery rebate as well.

It would amazing if WE COULD CONTACT THE IRS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I filed with Turbo Tax on 2/11/21 and was accepted by Federal on 2/12/21. Why are my transcripts saying I wont receive a letter from the IRS regarding my code 971 or 570 until 3/29/21????????????????????????????

AND why is it saying I didn't file my taxes until April 15 2021???????????????

Sorry to take this out on you, but its very frustrating to pay Turbo Tax to file our taxes and we can get get any answers or a live person! I have NEVER had problems with my taxes in the past and nothing has changed! I just want some answers! The IRS website is crap and NOTHING IS UPDATED!

I’m so frustrated! Makes zero sense to me. I just wish I could talk to someone, even though they probably don’t know what the hell is going on either. Ughhhh. I just need to know if I need something and I honestly feel TurboTax should help. I will NEVER use them again! Ever! I should’ve known when it’s way too easy. 😡

@Rvasqu2  did the 3/22 date appear anywhere in the dates of your transcript?

Nope! And now I can’t get any updates on the IRS website. So frustrating. I just want to pay for my boys travel and middle school baseball, that’s waaaay over due!

Yes I did have the 3/22 date that meant they would begin processing again on that date Luckily they decided to process it early and they Give me a code 846 which means refund issued for 3/17.

It did for me and has soon as I started checking it. It appears as the “as of” date, “processing date”, “tax return filed” date, and the “addition account action pending” date.

Still nothing for me. It’s all good. Won’t be using Turbo Tax ever again! Lesson learned!

Have you received your refund yet? I have the same codes but with a date of 3/29...just wondering if it is a quick fix and you received your refund or not.

I haven’t received a refund yet. I did look at my transcripts and it has a Refund date of 3/23 and with $400 less than what Turbo Tax calculated. I’m just all around frustrated...

My 571/970 and processing dates were 3/29 --- today i woke up to an 846 code of 3/24 with an additional $100 than what turbo tax calculated.
