Cannot File An Amendment

I want to amend my 2020 return to state that I can be claimed as a dependent. When I try to amend my return, it states that the return cannot be filed electronically, even though the original return was electronically filed with no issues. Why is this happening?

You can amend a tax rerun to change the filing status, however you cannot e-file the amended return in that case and you must print and mail it to the IRS.
