You. You can amend your 2020 and 2021 income tax returns to get missing stimulus payments. The IRS is no longer sending out payments.

Missing first and second payments are added to the 2020 return.

The missing third stimulus payment is added to the 2021 return.

The IRS fixed returns with incorrect amounts but did not add missing payments if the taxpayer left the box blank or $0.
