What does "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." Exactly mean?

It’s not because you’re black... it’s because no ones working in the office processing returns right now. I’m white, my girlfriend is Asian, and we’re all still having the same problems with our taxes that our black and white friends are having right now. In this instance, your race has nothing to do with it.

Same here, filled on 3/7. I owned money and that they took very quickly. It still says it's being processed and I HAVEN'T GOT MY STIMULUS CHECK YET. I need it urgently !!!

Would you please let me know how you got ahold of somebody on the phone my taxes were accepted on March 3 and I still don't have my federal taxes deposited into my account .

Call the IRS: 1-800-829-1040 hours 7 AM - 7 PM local time Monday-Friday
When calling the IRS do NOT choose the first option re: "Refund", or it will send you to an automated phone line.
So after first choosing your language, then do NOT choose Option 1 (refund info). Choose option 2 for "personal income tax" instead.
Then press 1 for "form, tax history, or payment".
Then press 3 "for all other questions."
Then press 2 "for all other questions."
- When it asks you to enter your SSN or EIN to access your account information, don't enter anything.
- After it asks twice, you will get another menu.

Press 2 for personal or individual tax questions.
Then press 4 for all other inquiries
It should then transfer you to an agent.

Yes I agree, thanks for clearing that up. My thing is, if it's saying it's still being processed then that means it has been scanned into the system therefore making it electronic to new processed in the computer therefore can be worked on remotely. We get nothing at all while others are about to get a 2nd payment. IRS can u please get our paper returns completed so we can survivor same as everyone else. Been since February now. Uugghhh fingers crossed

Go through the automated system then push 0 because I talked to someone that's how I know I'm mad I haven't received stimulus check or my taxes.

This process worked and I got through today. Thank you so much. My taxes have been in process since Feb and when I spoke to someone from the IRS she stated that nothing was wrong on my part no letter was sent from them, so this would mean that because of the coronavirus to give them an additional 6 to 10 weeks. That’s just what left is right now and to excuse them. Pretty much sorry for the inconvenience but they really can’t do much because most offices are still **bleep** down.
