I filled my amendment on May and it was accepted on 05/27/2021. Every time I call the IRS I keep getting the runaround with the IRS and I can`t get a straight answer from them. They keep telling me is processing and the website tells me to call because they cant give me any information. No way it takes this dang long. The year is almost ending and I'm getting super frustrated. I haven't gotten my child tax credit monthly because of this mess. It has came down to where I am calling almost every day to get an update and they keep telling me there is no time frame to when my amended return will finish processing.

You are not alone.  The IRS is way behind in processing returns, especially amended returns. TurboTax has no control over your return once it is filed.

The IRS is taking 6 months and longer to process amended tax returns.

There is no time frame and no way to make it go faster.  You can claim the child tax credit on your 2021 return.
