I need to amend my 2019 tax return. I received corrected 1099 DIV for two accounts. My question is..Do I just add the corrected information on the amended return i.e. edit and manually change the current Ordinary Div , capital gains etc or do I delete what is there currently and then download the corrected 1099's from Morgan Stanley? There are no changes to 1099 INT and 1099B .

You can just manually edit the information on the current 1099-DIVs to correct them. Don't make the change until you have started the amended return.
Thanks. I just started the amended return and had reach the area to make the changes and just wanted to be sure before editing that information.
Thx
Terry
