How can I file my taxes a second time correctly?

If you have already filed and the IRS has accepted it, there is no way to refile. If you need to correct an error you will have to amend. I would not amend until after you receive your refund unless the IRS puts a hold on your taxes because it can cause heavy delays.

You will not be able to amend your tax return until it has been accepted by the IRS. Please see the TurboTax FAQ here for more information on amending a 2020 tax return.
