I think so also because after tt said I was accepted I got it shortly after
@tashia821 If his was free then it didn’t go there because mine was free this year and I was worried why it didn’t go to Santa Barbara and it only goes there if you’re having fees taken out otherwise it goes straight to ur account from irs
yes
Just got mine EIC just now. Hit account at 5 pm cst wmr no update. Yay me. So don't focus on Wmr because mine missing but got my refund
@tiffluv81 Wow. Congrats You got your deposit. Did your transcripts update? When did you file
Throwing this out there. This year is not the same as the last few years.
Last few years I have always gotten my refund on the 22d like a ton of other people.
However since the 16th ( when the path act is lifted ) is on a Sunday and Monday is Federal Holiday there is going to be another week of delay. Below is straight from the IRS stating most early filers will not get a deposit date on WMR until the 22nd. So if you are use to getting it 3rd of week of February.....welp probably not this year.
They say several days after the 15th because the weekend and presidents day. Lets hope they go back to daily updating when the path act lifts and not this BS weekly on Saturday junk.
Taxpayers who claim the Earned Income Tax Credit or the Additional Child Tax Credit may experience a refund hold. According to the Protecting Americans from Tax Hikes (PATH) Act, the IRS cannot issue these refunds before mid-February. The IRS expects the first EITC/ACTC related refunds to be available in taxpayer bank accounts or on debit cards by the first week of March, if they chose direct deposit and there are no other issues with their tax return. Check Where’s My Refund for your personalized refund date.
WMR on IRS.gov and the IRS2Go app will be updated with projected deposit dates for most early EITC/ACTC refund filers by February 22. So EITC /ACTC filers will not see an update to their refund status for several days after Feb. 15.
The IRS, tax preparers and tax software will not have additional information on refund dates, so Where’s My Refund? remains the best way to check the status of a refund. Where’s My Refund? is only updated once daily, usually overnight, so you don’t need to check the status more often.
@caron1981 I think because of the holiday the middle of the month might have started this week. They might really info before the 15th or exactly on the 15th. Deposits for most may be the 18th of they filed early because that's the next business day
@Kesi12 and I believe everyone goes back to being either weekley or daily updating. When the path act started it forced everyone with the path act during that time to update weekley aka on Saturdays but when its lifted the irs code manual said people go back to either weekley or daily. So if you are daily you could see an update any day after the 17th. But this is the irs though so they dont exactly follow their own rules lol. I'll see if I can find that article in their IMF code manual and paste it here.
You can call [phone number removed]- follow the prompts. I did this last year- they will NOT tell you an amount but give you the number it corresponds to- either google search it or call. Things like state taxes, unemployment charges, and student loans can be taken out.
@Kesi12 Hopefully we get it after the holiday like 19 are 21
@Shottamike23 I'm hoping for 18th I need to bring my car home 😭
@dacv01 it blocks numbers on here have to spell it out
@dacv01 Idk if you were responding to me. But if you were the IRS says they don’t see any offset on my account.. Just when I call the TOP number it states I have 2 offsets from the Ga Dept of Revenue which made me call IRS but they say nothing is there so idk
@Kesi12 yes thank you lol just realizing this now...
@BB2019 You can You can call one eight hundred, thee oh four, thirty one oh seven - follow the prompts.
