Hello - I've now received my 2nd filing rejection even though I updated the software, followed all "rejection instructions", and ran the software review before re-filing. Same rejection explanation each time. Form 1116 looks correct to me. Is anyone else having this problem? Should I wait a couple of weeks to see if the issue is with the IRS and might get fixed? I really don't want to paper file. Thanks!

Same thing just happened to me. I went through all my entries for 1116 and made an adjustment to one item and resubmitted and just got my second rejection.
I called support after the first rejection and they just checked that no errors were showing and had me re-file. That's the second rejection. Have you gotten any help from TurboTax?
I haven't called yet but will try to call tomorrow.
I tried a few different things today but got several rejections.
I just found quite a few postings at https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/taxes/discussion/e-file-rejected-due-to-foreigntaxespaidoraccruedd....
It appears that we're not the only ones have 1116 issues. I will definitely call to put my name on the email notification list for the fix.
Just got off the phone with Turbo Tax. The person I spoke to was not helpful at all. She told me I had to wait 24 - 48 hours after the rejection for IRS to contact me.
Don't believe that will be happening.
I will try again tomorrow during normal hours and hopefully will find someone who is aware of the problem.
Thanks for keeping me updated on anything you find out. I'm waiting about a week, then will also start calling TurboTax. I don't usually file this early so maybe the glitches just haven't been worked out. But it seems like TurboTax should inform their help desk of known problems.
What is the rejection code you are receiving?
IRS1116 ForeignTaxCreditSource USTaxWithheldOnDividendAmt - Data in the return is missing or invalid. Please double check your entries.
There is a whole thread in the Community about Form 1116 rejections...very frustrating:
Thanks for any help!
Michelle - have you figured anything out for this issue. There are more and more people experiencing this. Many seem to think the year format on the form is being incorrectly input by TurboTax. The IRS form says to use 2 digits but TurboTax puts it in 4 digit format. --Jami
Same problem for me
Solved the same problem by changing various paid dates in 1116, part II to 12/31/20. Return accepted
