Re: 1040x amended return issue

My daughter’s 1040-x came with a payment voucher but line 20 is blank. Line 21 says “amount of line 21 you want refunded to you” and has an amount. How can she get a payment voucher but also get refunded? It’s confusing. Help!

Is there an amount on the voucher?

If she definitely does not owe anything then you can just disregard that voucher.

I keep trying g to amend my return but your service keeps sending me all kinds of id tests and you still add more. It's taking hours. This is unacceptable.
