How can I stipulate a qcd on a 1040 sr tax return?  It should be on line 4b?

I will need to ammend my return.

TurboTax will place the Qualified Charitable Distribution code on the correct line if you tell TurboTax you transferred an IRA distribution from a 1099-R directly into a charity.

1. Type 1099-r in Search in the top right
2. Select Jump to 1099-r
3. Review the 1099-R you entered or Add a 1099-R
4. Continue through the screens until you see Do any of these situations apply to you?
5. Select I transferred all or part of this money directly to charity
6. Answer the RMD question
7. On How much did xxx transfer directly to charity? enter the amount of your QCD
