I scheduled my taxes to be submitted and paid on 4/13/19. However, nothing came out of my bank account. How do I track the payment?

Payment will usually not be initiated until the return has been processed. If your payment date has passed, but your tax payment has not been withdrawn yet, you can also call IRS e-file Payment Services anytime at 1-888-353-4537 to verify your payment.

This was absolutely the information I needed to solve my problem...  The eFile Payment Service phone number was the true lifeline.   I have been trying to get the info this answer provided for literally 2 hours.   I am truly grateful....  fran brissette
